Business Journal Names Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation One of 2014 Best Places to Work in North Texas

Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation has been selected as one of the 60 Best Places to Work in North Texas. The recognition was announced by the Dallas Business Journal (DBJ), which has compiled the list with independent research firm Quantum Workplace for 12 years.

"It's fantastic that the public can now appreciate what we already know: Working at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation is extremely rewarding," said Market Executive Jon Skinner. "While we have consistently been recognized nationally for providing compassionate, quality, expert care to our patients, we can only accomplish this with a team of contented therapists, physicians and staff – and ours are the best."

The journal's list is divided into small, medium and large companies. BIR is in the large company category. Others in that group are: Brinker International Inc.; Capital One; CBRE; Encompass Home Health and Hospice; Forest Park Medical Center; JLL; Lincoln Property Company – Residential Division; Methodist Health System; and Service King Paint & Body LLC.

Making the announcement online Tuesday, the DBJ explained that Quantum surveyed employees from each company, compiled data, tallied results and then matched the results against national standards. Official rankings of each company will be announced at a themed awards ceremony on June 19 at the Fairmont Dallas Hotel. The Best Places to Work will then be featured in a special publication in the June 20 issue of the DBJ.
