Baylor Scott & White Health Unveils New Brand’s Mark

The leadership of Baylor Scott & White Health today unveiled the new mark for their organization.  It can be viewed online at:

Baylor Health Care System and Scott & White Healthcare merged their two systems in 2013 thereby creating the largest not-for-profit health care system in the State of Texas with 43 hospitals, more than 500 patient care sites, more than 6,000 affiliated physicians, 34,000 total employees and the Scott & White Health Plan.

“The new ‘mark’ represents the coming together of many providers with one focus – the patient we serve, at the center of our efforts,” said Joel Allison, chief executive officer of Baylor Scott & White Health. “Like building blocks, each element of the mark represents the contributions of those of different experiences, backgrounds and beliefs, coming together to form the health care organization we are today and the ideal patient experience. Its cross shape pays respect to the Christian heritage of the organization. And, like a compass, its four directions point to potential boundless expansion.”

The first Baylor Scott & White Health facility to showcase the new mark will be Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center, located in Waco. It opens on Wednesday, November 20. Over time, the new mark will appear on other signs and facilities across the service area.
