Baylor Scott & White Health and The Star – Home of The Dallas Cowboys – Announce Preparations to Build Center of Excellence in Sports Medicine

Innovative Medical Complex Planned to Open in Frisco in 2016

Baylor Scott & White Health is working towards the construction of a 200,000 square-foot center of excellence for sports medicine at The Star – Home of the Dallas Cowboys in Frisco, Texas.

The initial phase of the project will include an ambulatory surgery center, a diagnostic imaging center, physical therapy, a preventive care program for athletes and several other health care offerings.

The center is scheduled be operational in the fall of 2016.

The Star, a 91-acre mixed-use development project that encompasses the Dallas Cowboys World Corporate Headquarters and Training Facility, is being built on the Northwest corner of Warren Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway. The project will also include:  office and retail space, a 12,000-seat multi-use event center and an Omni hotel. Ground was officially broken on the project in August 2014.
