Grateful patient shares her story, talks about life-saving procedure performed at Baylor

OCT. 17, 2013 - Brought to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas two weeks ago with a suspected blood clot, Vivian Peters was discovered to have a giant tumor inside the critical vein that brings blood to her heart. A team of surgeons temporarily removed her liver and both kidneys to repair her heart and connecting vessel, all while keeping her alive on a heart bypass machine.
