The Louise Batz Story
Every day in the United States an estimated 550 people die from preventable medical errors, which is more than 200,000 people a year, making it the third leading cause of death in the US. Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, in conjunction with the Louise H. Batz Patient Safety Foundation, created this video about one family’s experience at a Texas hospital in hopes that it can help prevent such medical errors in the future.
